The Parish Council emergency booklet stressed the importance of contacting power services in the Summer to get branches cut away from lines. Well – it’s happening! Contractors employed by SW Power have been out and about in the parish this week cutting trees and chipping the branches. And…..it all happened as a result of a parishioner calling to report snagged power lines! Winter is a long time off, but if you do see power lines at risk then take action. It works!
